Our Journey of
Innovation
2013 – Foundations
Cubii Home was born as a spin-off of Smart Cube s.a.r.l in Luxembourg, founded in 2013 with a mission to drive technological innovation in Smart Home and Smart Building sectors. Since 2013, Smart Cube operates as a true “idea lab,” refining concepts, testing technologies, and developing solutions with real societal value.
2018 – Commercial Launch
In 2018, Smart Cube entered the market with a fresh approach to redefining Smart Homes and Buildings through connected services. One of these innovations was the Cubii App.
2019 – Recognition
In 2019, our innovative concept earned Smart Cube a finalist spot in the Luxembourg Craftsmanship Innovation Award (Digital category), competing alongside established SMEs.
2021 – Expansion into Energy Monitoring
We launched a platform integrating all meter types—electricity, water (hot/cold), thermal, and gas—helping clients visualize consumption, detect waste, and reduce inefficiencies. This milestone led to the creation of:

2023 – Strategic Investment
To accelerate innovation, we founded Cube4Finance, a holding company that attracted major investors such as Socipar and Teseos.
2025 – Cubii Home Portugal
In 2025, we expanded to Portugal, an emerging tech market with limited smart home solutions, forming strategic alliances to deliver our expertise and technology to a demanding market.
